According to statistics released by National Bureau of Statistics, on March China produces 186,980,000 tons of cement, increasing 6.9% year on year; in the first three months, the cement production of China reaches 417,040,000 tons in total, increasing 8.2% year one year.

In the same period, national fixed assets investment increases 20.9% to 5809.2 billion Yuan, down 0.3 percent, even to the level of the same period last year. Fixed Asset investment in March increases by 1.59% comparing to February.

The first three months see national real estate development increase by 20.2% year on year, but increasing rate falls by 2.6 % comparing to January and February. Housing investment amounts 901.3 billion Yuan, up 21.1%, but increasing rate falls by 2.3%. Housing investment accounts for 68.6% of overall real estate development.
